EvIDENz: Earth observation-based information products for drought risk assessment on a national basis

Acquirer: The University of Bonn (ZFL) Performer: Space Research Institute NASU-NSAU Project leader: Prof., Dr. Nataliia Kussul Duration: 2016-2018 The main goal of the project: Evidenz project aimed to solving the problems of monitoring Earth for agricultural drought risk reduction at the national level, including limiting the socio-economic impact and identification of a common set of criteria to assess the risks of this type of disaster globally. October 9 held a working meeting on the Project ERA-PLANET Smurbs in Athens. Our representatives were presented with three presentations. 1. Project of architecture of the city portal in the quality of air, which will be created based on the results of the project Smurbs; 2. The achievements of the Institute of Space Research on the detection of thermal anomalies-one of them is fires on peat, very much to the residents of Kyiv and the region; 3. Smart City HUB

On July 26 There was a meeting with our friends from public organization Kyiv Smart City in the context of cooperation of the Institute of Space Research, KSCA and «Smart city Hub». We discussed a number of issues on creating a smart city portal-Kiev is one of the pilot cities in the project ERA-PLANET Smubs, whose execution in Ukraine is headed by the Institute of Space Research.
