On 22-24 of November 2017 representatives of Space Research Institute NASU-SSAU participated in the UNO international conference
on international cooperation towards low-emissions and resilient societies that was held in Bonn, Germany.
The conference is organised by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), UN-SPIDER platform and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR),
in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
Within conference strategies to enhance the combined and complementary use of space technologies in climate change and disaster risk reduction efforts, as well as to contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development were discussed.
Within section "The role of space technology aplications for disaster risk reduction and climate change" Prof. Nataliia Kussul presented on "Earth observations for SDG monitoring in Ukraine"
