On 27-28 of March 2018, a workshop on the ERA-PLANET SMURBS project was held at the premises of the University of Hamburg. The workshop was devoted to issues related to the implementation of air monitoring,
intelligent response and disaster prevention technologies, as well as urban agglomeration issues within the smart city.
Within the framework of the SMURBS project Kyiv city is selected as one of the pilot cities for which the project results are planned to be deployed. Such activities require close co-operation with the city authorities, the
basis of which is an agreement on cooperation with the KCSA, that was signed on February 21, 2018.
Representatives of Ukraine during workshop participated in several round tables, which resulted in the formation of lists of geospatial products and intelligent solutions that are important for building a smart city.
More detailed information about workshop is available at the SMURBS project site.
