March 12-15, 2018, Deputy Director of the Institute of Space Research, NASU-SSAU Professor Kussul N.M. took part in the regional seminar of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, which was organized with the support of a global program to support NEP / GEF in Antalya, Turkey.
Within the workshop, prof. Kussul NM presented Ukraine’s achievements in GEO activities, GEOEssential/ERA-PLANET H2020 project, as well as results of validation of global terrestrial maps by comparative analysis with national high spatial resolution maps for the territory of Ukraine within the presentation “SDG Monitoring and Global Products Validation within GEO related projects “.
