Appreciation within All-Ukrainian (national) competition of scientific and educational publications “OPEN SCIENCE, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATIVE AGROTECHNOLOGIES” was awarded to the monograph of 2019 “Methods of deep learning for geospatial analysis and Earth observation problems”, authored by Shelestov A., Lavrenyuk M., Yailymov B. and Tkachenko O. (National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Space Research Institute NASU-SSAU, National Technical University of Ukraine
“Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”).
The professional jury for the content of the publications determined the winners in various categories. Our scientific literature took 3rd place in the category of Engineering and Technological Sciences.
In total, more than 300 textbooks and scientific publications were sent to the organizing committee of the competition. 219 publications were admitted to the competition after compliance with all the requirements of the competition.
The purpose of the competition is to promote scientific and methodological developments that support the educational process in Ukrainian higher education institutions, meet higher education standards, promote the creation of new knowledge, students gain quality higher education and disseminate best practices in teaching, learning and science.
