Employees of the Space Research Institute NAS Ukraine and SSA Ukraine together with the chairman of the PAEU eco-monitoring committee presented their own solutions for improving air quality monitoring in Ukraine on the platform of solutions for environmental managers of Ecobusiness group.
Despite the fact that Ukraine does not yet have sufficient resources to fully implement global air quality control, for example, within the CAMS (Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service), in recent years there have been projects that actively promote this. Among them is the work of the Space Research Institute NAS Ukraine and SSA Ukraine together with the Institute of Physics and Technology, in particular, in the project of the National Research Fundation of Ukraine SMURBS (SMart URBan Solutions) Horizon-2020 ERA-Planet. Within the framework of this project, the methodology of obtaining a city atlas similar to the European one and a map of pollution by quarters of the city of Kyiv became known.
