October 27, 2022 employees of the department Yalymov B.Ya., Shelestov A.Yu., Yalymova G.O., Krasilnikova T.M. took part in the scientific seminar «Data, Intelligence and Algorithms» to discuss topical issues of geospatial intelligence and the use of satellite data. The seminar was held on the basis of the Physical and Technical Institute of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky, namely at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis.
Nataliya Kussul presented the report «Geospatial intelligence», highlighted the current trends in the use of large satellite data, outlined the prospects of scientific work for students.
Oleksandr Yavorskyi, a graduate student of the department, delivered the report «Geometry machines healthcare». Also, the main areas of scientific research were presented by a specialist in mathematical modeling and computer vision, Ph.D. Vladyslav Khaidurov.
Such meetings are planned to be held monthly. Scientists, teachers, graduate students, masters and bachelors who have interesting research and scientific achievements and are ready to share them, or choose or expand their field of work, are invited to give speeches and participate in the seminar.
