ERA-PLANET SMURBS

A working meeting on the ERA-PLANET SMURBS project took place in Athens on the 9th of October. Our representatives made three reports.

  1. The city portal architecture project of the air quality based on the results of the SMURBS project;
  2. The Space Research Institute’s work on detecting thermal anomalies – one of them is the fires in peatlands, which greatly annoy the people of Kyiv and the region;
  3. The validation of existing products (Global Human Settlement Layer), creation of technology to complement Urban Atlas for new cities on a regular basis;
