On June 23, 2020, Copernicus Academy volunteer program for students interested in the analysis of satellite monitoring of the Earth was launched in Space Research Institute. It includes a series of practical webinars and further training based on the Department of Space Information Technology and Systems under the guidance of mentors.

This program is held under the auspices of the Copernicus Academy. One of the main goals of the scientific network is to promote the development of new research by increasing the future generation of young scientists. Development of lectures, classes, internships and other types of training materials that will help grow a new generation of researchers.

Our program realizes this goal through a practical approach – “learning-by-doing”.

During the program, participants will learn about the following topics:

  1. Basics of working with geospatial data.
