Discussion Platform: Science for Recovery and Sustainability

The discussion platform “Science for Recovery and Sustainable Development” took place from January to May 2025. It was initiated by the University of Maryland (UMD) and NTUU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in partnership with leading institutions and projects from the USA and Ukraine, with the support by NASA and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The platform aims to bring together scientists and students from Ukraine and the USA to collaboratively address pressing challenges related to Ukraine’s post-war recovery, resource management, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development.
