Scientific seminar «Data, Intelligence and Algorithms» in remote format

On December 14, 2022, at 18:00, the scientific seminar «Data, Intelligence and Algorithms» will be held in a remote format.

The report «Deep Learning for satellite monitoring» will be presented by Leonid Shumilo, a graduate student at the University of Maryland, an expert in working with deep neural networks and satellite data. Leonid will talk about the algorithms used for data analysis from his own experience. In particular, we will discuss neural network models for analyzing changes in forest cover and forest health based on satellite data. The new Horizon Europe project «Satellites for Wildlife Inspection and Forest Threat Tracking» (SWIFTT) is dedicated to this topic, the participants of which are scientists of the IKD of NASU-DKAU, as well as teachers and students of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky.

We invite everyone, scientists, students, teachers!

To participate, fill out the registration form (https://forms.gle/wwuh6sCZyQW8K5q76), a link to the meeting will be sent to your e-mail.
